Struck by lightning – twice!
When a bolt of lightning zapped The Troupe’s
30-extension phone system last year, Intervale Technologies responded
immediately and had the 12-person firm back in touch with its customers the
same day.
"They were literally there within four hours,"
said Fred Connors Jr., general manager of the media design and production company in Windham,
N.H. "They removed the ruined switch, installed a new one, and completely
reprogrammed the system to get us up and running."
"Two weeks later, they had the chance to do it
again," he said, referring to a second bolt from the blue. "They also did a
good needs analysis on the phones themselves, made some technical
recommendations and told us we didn’t need a service contract. They said ‘Call
us when you need us’ and didn’t sell us something we didn’t need."
"If I had to describe them in one word it would
be responsive, because they get back to you and they do what they say they’re
going to do. It’s the way you treat your customers and it’s the way you want to
be treated," Connors said.
